Cheers to Beers!....

The drive up Hwy 49 to Downieville will definitely be worth the trip!  We’re proud to offer samplings from some of your favorite breweries in northern California and Nevada at the Downieville Mountain Brewfest.  The location is perfect; small town, no traffic, casual and friendly….music, food and great beer!  On a sunny, warm July day, there’s no better place to sip some great brews than in this laid-back setting!

Your event ticket provides unlimited tastings. There will be live music and of course, plenty of food.  No brewfest would be complete without an offering of food, and so a variety of tasty choices will be available for purchase.  There will be something for every appetite!

So when you arrive…..

REGISTRATION OPENS AT 10:00 AM.  Attendees please check in at the Registration Table.  You may register early, however, tasting will begin at 2:00 pm. Each ticket will entitle eligible attendees to sampling from 2:00pm to 6:00 pm.  You must provide picture ID verifying that you are 21 years or older.  No ID, no admission!.  As an attendee, you will get a wrist band indicating that you are 21 years of age or older and have paid.  Only those folks wearing Brewfest wristbands will be served. Designated drivers admission is FREE.  A take-home imprinted pilsner taster will be given to you as part of your ticket price and this is the ONLY container beer may be poured into.  All beer samples will be poured in a quantity of 2 oz. and tastings can be for as many 2 oz samples as you can responsibly consume.

Just a friendly reminder...Only those wearing a Brewfest wristband will be served and allowed to taste.  This means--NO SHARING. If someone is observed sharing with another person who is not wearing a wristband, those people will be asked to leave the Brewfest area. This is not only our rule, but our liability insurance carrier's and the ABC's rule, too. Getting caught...is it really worth it?

Souvenir Brewfest Logo Glasses will be available for purchase to take home.

All attendees are urged to taste responsibly. Please know your limits.  Attendees are encouraged to arrange safe rides to and from the Brewfest.  There will be a trained crew of Festival staff and volunteers located throughout the Festival who will be available to handle every beer festival activity.  We hope you will all have a fun time and experience an enjoyable day of beer tasting in Downieville!

Please ~ No Dogs in the Brewfest Area. We'd hate to see your pet suffer from paw burn or heat prostration.  Leave your pets at home and be hands free.  That way, you can enjoy something to eat in one hand and a glass of beer in the other!
